We ate at the Pepper Tree and it was an excellent choice. Review in the works.
Sometimes I wish I had all the time in the world to eat my way through a city but I look forward to heading back to Houston one of these days.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a good vegan restaurant in Houston. Heading out to dinner in a few hours. Thanks. Marty

It's too late for Green Seed Vegan (an awesome food truck), but you could try Field of Greens or Pepper Tree.

Radical Eats, near northside, is all vegan, Mexican (281-2227647)
Pepper Tree (713-6219488) is all vegan; Field of Greens (7135330029) is not, yet is very vegan friendly.
Loving Hut (281-5318882), on the far west side of town, is also all vegan.
Vegan Cafe (832-8910507), in 3rd ward inside SHAPE community center, is also all vegan.
Bhojan (7137776900) Indian Restaurant, vegan friendly, is good as well.
Garden Kitchen, raw vegan, is near Reliant Stadium 832-3507534.
And if you are in town midday, the number for the awesome food truck, Green Seed Vegan is 713-4878346.
